Technogym planning notes for commercial cardio and strength spaces

Use this library as a starting point for conversations with architects, procurement teams, service managers, and wellness operators. It groups the questions that usually slow down a commercial fitness project: footprint, circulation, power, member flow, training intent, console behavior, cleaning, service access, and lifecycle planning.

Space Planning

Cardio rows need safe exit zones, console sightlines, and cleaning access. Strength stations need approach paths, movement clearance, and supervision visibility. A simple equipment count is not enough; operators should plan how members move before, during, and after each set.

Console + Digital

Digital behavior affects onboarding, data visibility, and staff explanation. Review login needs, content access, app expectations, Wi-Fi coverage, privacy handling, and what happens when a member wants a fast start without guidance.

Service Access

Maintenance is easier when equipment is placed with belts, decks, pulleys, stacks, cabling, and consoles in mind. A premium floor should look clean while still giving technicians enough room to work.

Product Pairing

Treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, rowers, selectorized machines, cable systems, benches, and free weights should reinforce the facility's member profile. The best mix changes by club, hotel, campus, corporate, and residential amenity model.
